of Irish Qualifications AbroadRecognition of Irish Qualifications AbroadEach country has the responsibility to recognise foreign qualifications within its own jurisdiction. The relevant authority in the country where you are interested in obtaining recognition will be able to give you advice on the procedures for recognition of your award. Whom you should contact depends on whether you hold a higher education and training qualification or a further education and training qualification. If you hold a higher education and training award, you should contact the ENIC/NARIC office in the country where you wish to have the award recognised. The following link will take you to the ENIC-NARIC (www.enic-naric.net) website. The names and contact details of our colleagues in many countries are available on this site. NRP offices exist throughout Europe. If you hold a further education and training award, you should contact the NRP office in the appropriate country. The links to the National Reference Points for vocational qualifications in other countries are published on the Europass portal website, please click here if you would like to view the contact details of NRP offices.
