The ENIC/NARIC is a network of national centres created to help improve the academic recognition of international awards and facilitating the integration of national education systems.

The key functions of the ENIC/NARIC centre are as follows:

• Act as a first point of contact when questions relating to higher education awards arise
• Provide information about the procedures for recognition in the State
• Refer to the authorities to which citizens have to apply for recognition
• Provide information about foreign education systems and the recognition of foreign diplomas.
